The two Michael Strang paintings below were chosen by the late Hazel Burston for acceptance into the permanent collection of the Penlee House Gallery, which opened in November 1997. The Penlee House art collection is the largest in West Cornwall, ranging from 1750 to the present day. It features the premier collection of works by artists of the Newlyn School (1880 - 1930), including Walter Langley, Stanhope and Elizabeth Forbes and SJ Lamorna Birch. Illustrious company! |
